The question mark from a box
This one took a little bit to sort out, because I had to figure what it was even trying to express.

The time has come again! Our social media timelines begin to fill with artwork from illustrators we admire, and some of us fight the urge to compare our efforts to those of others. Years past I have attempted #inktober and had some success. Last year, 2018 I actually got half way through. I’m quite pleased with that. But this year I decided to try something different.
One of the illustration accounts I follow is a pair of Brazilian digital artists and game designers. They came up with the idea of #OC-tober, and I really dig it. I like a little structure around what I do artisically, and while #inktober is great I struggled as I tried to find myself in some of it, and art for art sake isn’t my strong suite. So I was drawn to this idea of taking a character and developing them visually over thirty-one days. I also like this because it’s pushing me to work on my graphic novel idea.
This is the main character in the story, she is Vivian Poe. There are two versions because one is how she is introduced and the second is more like how she looks during her adventure. Naturally these are subject to change as this progresses, but gotta start somewhere.
Today I was asked to draw Beast, Belle, Belle’s daddy, and a princess. This was the approved result.
The height scale is a little off, but not bad for being upside down.
Originally this was going to be either Zatana or magician skin Symetrra. But as I was starting to fall asleep while drawing, it looks like neither of them but it does look kinda like a magician, so there’s that.
Today’s Tiny Things is a little silly but it is goo to get back to my cartooning roots.
Today’s Tiny Thing, is the smallest state in the USA. Despite the size it has a lot of history here.
Today’s Tiny Things is “a dog tag”. Short sweet and direct.
